Today
I'm showing you the difference between a parallel double eyelid and a tapered eyelid
Right side: Parallel eyelid, Left side: Tapered eyelid
On the right side, you can see that the crease is folded higher than the right eye. This is called Parallel eyelids. Toward the inner corner of the eye, you can see that the crease does not fold into the corner of the eye, but rather is like a line that does not connect to anything. Most Chinese net idols, Gyaru models, and Ulzzang models either create or have Parallel eyelids in their pictures. Parallel eyelids are usually caused when there is taught skin between the eye and the eyebrow area.
On the right side, it is a Tapered eyelid. The crease of a tapered eyelid is much lower than the Parallel eyelid. In this case, the crease does fold into the inner corner of the eye. This can be caused by excessive skin (and it is not bad to have excessive skin) between the brow bone and the eye. Most monolids are also formed due to excessive skin.
To the left: this is what an artificially made double eyelid looks like, To the right: A natural eyelid looks like this
I have one Parallel eyelid and one tapered eyelid, so it can be a little difficult to equal out my eyes with cosmetics, but it's alright~
Thanks for reading!
