Popping Candy Brown Lens Review

So, tonight
I'm doing a review of the

Popping Candy Brown Lens

One lens
Both

Up close and personal w w w

Information:
Color: Brown
Base curve: 8.6
Water content: 38~42%
Diameter: 14.5mm
Manufacturer: Dueba
Duration: 1 year/12 months

Design and Color: 4/5

The Popping Candy lenses looks just like the Neo Cosmo Glamour series, but they don't much of a soft outer ring as the Neo Cosmo ones do, which I personally prefer. They look stunning, though! The color shows up very well on my eye, changing my brown eyes into a hazelish amber color. It matches my hair color! The base curve is 8.6, so it was expected to slide around when I look around too fast because my base curve is measured at 8.3.

Enlargment: 3/5

Although they are labeled as 14.5mm lens, they look smaller than that. I would say they are more like 14.2mm when I wear them. It's not a problem, though! That means 0.3mm of the lens' edge is clear and has no color. I think it's a very smart design.

Comfort: 3.5/5

At first, after soaking them, they kind of stung a bit when I put them on. After soaking them for another day, I tried them again and they felt fine, but kept slipping. I think it takes a few days for lens to get used to the curvature of my eyes, or for my eye to get used to wearing the lens; either way, it needs progression, but that is my personal experience with all contact lens. Thankfully, after those few days, it was fine and they give me no problems. I can wear them for a full 8 hours without problems or need of eye drops. The lens are very thin and remind me of monthlies, but they're actually yearlies!

Vision: 4/5

I can see just fine with these lens. I don't wear my glasses over circle lens, so these lens really corrected my vision and I can see clearly. The only time it gets a little blurry (or when I see a double silhouette of something) is when I'm tired or I open my eyes too wide, causing the lens to slip downward.

Overall: 3.5/5

Popping Candy lenses are really amazing at changing eye color! I can see why so many models in oneegal/oneegyaru magazines like this type of pattern. They look stunning in photos as well!

They kind of make me look more mature..(?)

Fairy 1day Natural Brown Lens Review

Well, everyone, here's another review on some lenses I have purchased recently!

This review is on:

Fairy 1 Day Natural Brown

I can't stress enough how much I love blister packages for circle lens!
One lens inserted (top image) and both lens (bottom image)

Information:
Color: Chocolate/Brown
Diameter: 14.2mm (stained/colored diameter: 13.3mm)
Water content: 38% ~ 42%
Base curve: 8.7mm
Manufacturer: Sincere Vision
Duration: Daily/ 1 day

Before I start, the Fairy Brand from Sincere Vision is one of the most popular lens in Japan, next to Tsubasa Masuwaka's Bambi series, Celebrity Eyes, AngelColor, Venus Eyes, and much more. They are available in monthlies as well as dailies. I prefer dailies because you can actually sleep with them on (but it's not recommended) and then chuck them after! The oxygen permeability is said to be better than regular circle lens.

Design and Color: 5/5

First, I have to say that the color of the lens match my natural eye color gorgeously! I was so surprised that they could look so natural. The design is simple; the design is a simple ring of color with soft spikes leading to the middle and stopping before the clear site where your pupil is supposed to be. It looks similar to the Hyper Circle lens in 14.2mm (but other websites state they are 14.5mm), but the pattern is much more defined. There are quite a few millimeters of clear area on the edge of the circle lens, so it never looks like your lens is slipping downward when you look up! They blend in very well with my natural eye color, which is two thumbs up for me!

Enlargement: 2/5

Although the lens are 14.2mm, the colored part only reaches to 13.3mm. This means that there is indeed a lot more clear space at the edge of the lens; it doesn't enlarge that much. These Fairy lenses are very natural looking, so it was expected to be subtly enlarging, but not enough to have HUGE eyes. This is a plus for me because I usually like to wear brown lenses without too much makeup or on days when I am feeling lazy.

Comfort: 5/5

Fairy lenses really live up to their claim! I could not feel them in my eye for the entire day. No eye drops were needed at all. The great part I liked about it was the fact that I didn't have to soak them in solution for 8 hours! The lenses are easy and ready to go, so you just open up the cute blister packages and pop them on! If you're in a rush, it's great to have.

Vision: 4/5

Now, this is a new part of reviewing! I'm actually going to rate how well I see with lens from now on.
I could see pretty clearly with these lens, but there were (and are) some times where they would make me see a little double of something. I think it is probably because my eye's base curve is 8.3 while the lens' curve is actually 8.7! If you have a base curve that is around 8.6 or higher, you shouldn't have any problems with the circle lens giving you double vision/silhouettes. Other than that, everything was crystal clear!

Overall: 4.5/5

I am so in love with these daily lenses! I have tried a few Fairy lens in the past, but the 1 day lens are very superior. The comfort level is great, the enlargement is very natural, and many people couldn't tell if I was wearing circle lens or not! Those who want to have natural lens, these would be for you!

Here's me doing some "advertisement" photos with the super cute packaging!

Thanks for reading my blog today. See you again!!

G&G Blossom Brown Lens Review

Before I start
I apologize for the messy quality of the pictures!!
It's been a really busy week for me and I look so tired ||orz
So now...

I'm reviewing

G&G Blossom Brown

One lens comparison
Both lens

Information:
Color: Brown
Water content: 38%
Diameter: 14.5mm
Manufacturer: G&G
Base curve: 8.6
Duration: 1 year/ 12 months
Disposable soft lens

Design and Color: 4/5

The brown really looks very golden-yellow to me, but I guess it is considered as a brown..? I'm not very fond of yellow tints, but I think it looks OK on my eyes. I believe that the yellow would look super beautiful on a lighter eye color, but that is just my opinion. The blossom design is really pretty and it reminds me of slightly curved tidal waves.

Enlargement: 3.5/5

14.5mm are really a nice match for my liking right now. It gives me incentive to wear some makeup... just the minimal necessities. The black ring makes it look a bit smaller than it really is, but nevertheless, it is still pleasing and I definitely notice a change in enlargement.

Comfort: 3/5

I'd say that these aren't the greatest lens to wear for a whole 8 to 10 hours. They start to sting after having them in for 4 hours. I tried eye drops, but it really wasn't helpful. I would love to wear these out longer, but I guess it will only be for photos and short trips outside.

Overall: 3.5/5

I like these lenses, but I'm not sure if I can appreciate them to its fullest because of the uncomfortable dryness in my eyes. Perhaps, my opinion will change later on. Not a bad purchase, though! It was a nice price, so I am very happy I got them. They look mystic in their own way. (*^_^*)

Halloween is almost here!! What are you dressing up as?

I want to cosplay as Iruka Umino (from Naruto), but we'll see how everything goes!!

See you later!!

Beuberry Crystal Clear Apricot Lens Review (Purchased from Uniqso)

Hi everyone!

Today's circle lens review is on

Beuberry Crystal Clear Apricot

One lens

Both lens

Three views of the lens

Information:
Color: Apricot/Orange/Brown
Water content: 55%
Diameter: 16mm (actual diameter is 15mm)
Manufacturer: Beuberry Lens
Base curve: 8.6
Duration: 12 months/1 year
Disposable soft lens

Based on my measurements,
This Beuberry lens is 15mm, not 16mm
Though, these are the biggest lenses I've ever owned!

Design and Color: 5/5

I am in LOVE with the color of these lenses! I really wanted some orange colored circle lens and these definitely do the trick! The color is really vivid, making it light colored. From far away, it may not be easy to tell that there is orange color though. The design really reminds me of the Bubble series from The Dolly Eye, but the inner design is a lot prettier because it looks like swirls to me. (*^_^*)

Enlargement: 5/5

Now, because of the design, these aren't exactly the most extravagant when it comes to enlargement, but it definitely looks a little larger than 14.5mm! It's because there is no dark ring around the outer side of the lens. I think it's more than enough enlargement for my eyes. Perhaps if I had gotten a darker color, I would have rated enlargement as a 5+/5!! But I'm happy with the enlargement on this.

Comfort: 5/5

Despite the HUGE diameter, I deem Beuberry as the most comfortable lens I've ever worn in my entire life! No wonder, though, because the water content is 55%!! Huge lens, but great comfort. I didn't have to use eye drops for these lens at all. Once I put the lens into my eye, I didn't feel it. It's a pretty great discovery for me since my base curve is 0.3mm below the base curve of most circle lens' curve.

Overall: 5/5!!

Super in love with these! I will definitely repurchase these, for Halloween, of course. The design is really light and pretty. The comfort is DEFINITELY amazing as well!

You can find these lenses HERE!

New camera angles.. (?!)
I don't look the same as I did in the summer
I lost even more weight from my face (o Ao)

Thanks for looking at my review!

Angel Color Chocolate Brown Lens Review

Finally!

I am going to review Tsubasa Masuwaka's lens: Angel Color Chocolate Brown

In the case: left side, outside design is showing; right side, inside design is showing

On my hand, outside design is facing

One lens on

Both lens on

Information:
Color: Brown
Diameter: 14.2mm
Water content: 38%
Base curve: 8.6
Duration: 1 year/12 months
Disposable soft lens

Design/Color: 9/10
The Chocolate Brown lens have a very cute design and I really like the color they give to my eyes! In the middle of the lens, there is an orange-yellow-like color to define the pupil. There is also a black limbal ring on the outside of the design and it spikes into the brown color a bit. The brown is a rich brown which, to some people, looks a little reddish. My eyes are naturally colored a rich brown in the sunlight, so I have no problem with the coloring!

Comfort: 8/10
After soaking the lens overnight, I tried them on and there wasn’t any discomfort. After a few hours on the road (since I drove from the airport to Los Angeles), though, I did start to feel the lens in my right eye, but an eye drop or two solved the problem for the rest of the day! It was a miracle, because I was afraid the harsh sunlight would dry out the lens while I was in California (thankfully, I bought new sunglasses after my road trip).

Enlargement: 8/10
These lens are 14.2mm and that diameter is just perfect for me! It doesn’t enlarge too much, but it definitely makes a difference! Especially in pictures, I find that these lens make my eyes look so much more dolly and cute. I rate it 8 out of 10 because I have 15mm ones (from GEO; the Princess Mimi Series) and they are definitely smaller than the 15mm lens. For personal preference rating, though, it rates 10/10!

Overall: 9/10
Love these! I love the color, the design and the enlargement! Although I wish they would never feel slightly dry toward the middle of the day, that’s almost impossible for most circle lens. I definitely recommend these to anyone who wants to have an enlargement that’s not too big, not too small, or if you just don’t want to wear 14.5mm lens! The design can fit anyone, whether you are male or female. This was a great purchase and I know I’m going to order these again soon.

Thanks for reading!!

Angel Color Bambi Preview

Today

Guess what I received?

That's right! I received my first pair of Angel Color Bambi Chocolate Brown circle lens  Yay!
These are the original series that the Gyaru model, Tsubasa Masuwaka, wears!
The packaging is different, though, because I got these lens shipped from Hong Kong instead of taking a trip down to town and buying them for 4200 yen
I only paid about 1941 yen for the these lens which are produced in Korea (like all Angel Color lens)
but are labeled as "Create.i" in Hong Kong and Taiwan
I guess that the Bambi lens are expensive due to the name brand
It's really a confusing process sometimes!

The lens are flipped inside-out in the vials

So here is the information on the vials:

Information:
Color: Brown
Diameter: 14.2mm
Water content: 38%
Base curve: 8.6
Duration: 1 year/12 months
Disposable soft lens

These Bambi lens are not GEO's Princess Mimi circle lens
They are 14.2mm instead of Princess Mimi's Chocolate Brown's diameter of 15mm

I would love to buy some Princess Mimi lens, but I'm afraid they'll be too big on my eyes!

I'll review these Angel Color Bambi lens in the summer time (in late June) right before I arrive in Los Angeles to attend Anime Expo 2012 with my best friend, Kimimi!!

G&G/Dueba BT Walkure Choco Brown Lens Review

Yay!

Time for another circle lens review

I present to you:

G&G/ Dueba Walkure Choco Brown lens
In the case

Out of the case and on my finger (you can see in the inside of the lens looks the same as the outside design)

Both lens on

Left eye: no lens, Right eye: lens on

Information:
Color: Brown
Water content: 38%
Diameter: 14.5mm
Base curve: 8.6
Duration: 1 year/12 months
Disposable soft lens

Design and Color: 5/5

These lens are totally natural! I thought they were going to be a really rich color that wouldn't blend into my eyes, but they really are nice and the coloring toward the middle of the lens is soft enough to blend well. The design reminds me of a flower, and it's pretty simple! I think I've taken a liking to simple designs, haha! The color also matches my eye color, although, it's a bit duller brown. Still, it looks so pretty!

Enlargement: 5+/5

If I could, I would rate it 8/5!! These G&G circle lens are HUGE for 14.5mm! I compared them to my EOS Sugar Candy Pink lens and those looked 14mm compared to this series!! I seriously look like an alien with these lens on. You'd need some big and dramatic makeup to make these seem more natural!! Wow wow, the Walkure lens look like 15mm and are comparable with my XCK-105s, which are 14.8mm with an effect of 15+mm. I don't have a huge taste in large circle lens, so I wish that these were smaller.

Comfort: 4/5

These are very comfortable, just like EOS' lens are! I think G&G/Dueba and EOS are some of the companies whose circle lens are very soft and easy to wear! I have to say that I don't experience this with my GEO lens as much. Unfortunately, the lens slides a lot and really makes me look like a bug sometimes. Maybe my base curve is cannot match the normal 8.6? That's too bad!

Overall: 4/5

These lens are pretty good! They blend very well with brown eyes; I searched up some other reviews and they also work well on green eyes! It sort of gives it a hazel-ish look to green eyes. For anyone who likes big and dolly eyes, these are definitely for you! It's a simple, brown design so anyone can wear them!
Guys, don't be afraid to try out circle lens! Lots of the Men's Knuckle and Men's Egg Magazine models wear circle lens as well. These chocolate brown ones can be great on anyone's eyes.

Here's a picture of me with the Walkure lens on back in 2011! I looked so young then! What happened to my youth? (;A;)
These lens have different nicknames as well such as:
WX Choco, Maxiy Girl Brown, G&G Dolly Brown, and Hyper Big Brown Walkure
Anyway
That's all for now!
